DATE: 29 March 2026
VENUE: Greenfield Pastoral Centre
PROGRAM: Growing my Money – Basics of Investing
The Growing My Money workshop by Ms. Supriya Chavan from Enrich HK was both practical and energizing, with scholars actively engaging in discussions about investment basics, budgeting, and evaluating small businesses. The speaker used accessible examples to explain concepts like risk versus return, diversification, and investment time horizons, while peer sharing made the session more relevant by highlighting real challenges such as managing cash flow and balancing school with business ventures. This exchange of experiences gave participants concrete lessons and actionable steps to try. The lively Q&A covered practical concerns, from starting with limited funds to finding reliable mentors, and the speaker emphasized small, consistent steps as the foundation for long-term progress. Overall, the workshop blended theory with realistic advice, leaving scholars motivated, connected, and better equipped to pursue their financial goals.
We proudly celebrated Alma, Gelanie, and Febie for completing their BS degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Philippine Women’s University, marking an inspiring milestone in their journeys. We also warmly welcomed our newest scholar, May, whose ambition to build her own business after earning her bachelor’s degree reflects both determination and a bright future ahead.
