PROGRAM: Team Building and GTV ‘Good News with Vicky Morales’ Coverage

Emilio talked about the book and distributed to scholars who were unable to attend the mini-book launch.

For a change, the scholars had a team building and games were facilitated by our volunteers.

• Speed Synergy: The game entails that there will be two circles, one larger on the outside and one smaller on the inside, while both facing each other. The people in the smaller circle will rotate clockwise for every two minutes, leading the people to be partnered with different people, some new and some old. Those two minutes will be their time to talk to one another and share facts about each other.
• “Kultura Knows”, a Filipino trivia game: The scholars and the volunteers are partnered up into groups of three, and they were tasked with creating their own “buzzer” sound to answer the question. The participants were very competitive and enthusiastic about playing the trivia game, all wanting to one up each other in friendly fun.

It was nice to see everyone join in, as the past events we’ve had were more on the serious side, so seeing them be so carefree and being childish is heartwarming.
