Entrepreneurship Workshop
DATE: 16 November 2025
VENUE: Bayanihan Kennedy Town Center
SPEAKER: Zach Berkenkotter
The speaker talked about the importance of having a business model and introducing the four-box business model. With insights from his own family’s venture business, he encouraged the participants to share their own business experiences. Regarding the four-box business model, Zach allowed the audience some time to identify their strengths and areas for improvement.
Zach also emphasized that a startup requires a clear outline, continual learning, and exposure to the community/public to increase chances of luck and success. He then introduced AI tools such as ChatGPT and Poe as resources to help them create business models. He demonstrated these tools by creating a fictional character and their business idea: a person wanting to sell packaged foods and desserts in Hong Kong. The AI provided a wealth of information, outlining needed ingredients, preparation steps, marketing strategies, estimated capital, and delivery methods in a cohesive plan. The AI tool proved very useful for the audience, equipping them with a new resource they could use not only for this specific task but also for everyday life.
